Hello I am in process of buying Lanudromat. It has 13 washers and 13 Dryers in 1000 sq feet Area the outgoing rent is 2000 and the owner has the leese for 4 years. All the machines are old except 3 washers. He is asking !00K the total turnover is 10K per month. He is saing that there is net saving of 50% Are these figures correct.

In order to get a good response your info need to be very exact, including the area of the mat. Your question is slightly better then asking what a red car 4 years old is worth. I suggest having a local consultant value the mat for you, or even an accountant. Spend a few bucks now, save thousands later.

Hi there, First of all, where is this laundromat located? The price seems a little high to me. Does it offer any other service such as Dry Cleaning? Find out what the EBITDA is. EBITDA = Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization. Has he shown you any figures on paper or is he giving you the figures verbally? You need to see the numbers yourself and reviewed by an accountant. If you do buy from him, check with the Village to see if he is up to date with all monies owed to the Village. Our friend just bought a laundromat 2 months ago and just found out that the previous owners owed over $2500 in water bills. Be sure to check everything. Good Luck!!! Mr Quick Wash
