cost of card system

can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much i could expect to spend to upgrade new equipment with a card system? i expect i would need to purchase the readers for each machine (which would be offset somewhat by the coin meters, right?) and at least one card dispenser (is that the term?).

do all the machines have to be networked? if so, is the debitkey a viable alternative?
