Speed Queen Netmaster topload – Lid error

Have a relatively new mat when first opened the tops would say lid but then went away. I know have a machine that says lid all the time and nothing is wrong with the lid switch. Has anyone experienced similar problems with these?

If it is new the switch is under warranty- reder a new one. To check it switch lid switches with the one next to it.
