Who gave all the crazzies my address?
Just got off the phone with a dissatisfied customer . says his clothes did not come clean , I asked him to hold them up to the camera so i could see the clothes in question. The sheets looked like he had slaughtered a hog on it and left it to dry. I asked him ,did you pre soak the clothes in an enzyme cleaner like Biz before he tried to wash them . Not A clue what I was talking about. I asked him what was the number of the machine he used so I could check it out in the morning ,he did give me the # I said i would be more than happy to refund him twice the cost of the washer if it did not work for me in the morning. Leave your address and phone # and i will send you the refund , I am homeless and have no address So I said I guess you are shit out of luck and I will be calling the police when I hang up and let them know someone in my mat is trying to clean up clothes that look like something from a murder scene. BOY DID THEY GET OUT OF THE MAT IN A HURRY. Why me Lord what did I do to deserve them peoples? Guess I will need to tithe 20% this sunday. And what is it that when I am trying to fix or pull maintence on a machine that every tom dick and harry has to use the machine right next to the one I am working on. ARE THEY JUST STUPID

Don't know about the loonies, but customers everywhere seem to do this. Guess they like to be close just in case their machine does not work correctly.
When I work on machines I have made it a habit of placing the front or top of the machine I am working on in front of the one on one side of me and my tool box in front of the one on the other side. This actually stopped SOME people from trying to use those machines.

Lol Bodman,
There must be something in the subconscious that gives people comfort to be right next to the "mechanic".
I have even had people walk up to me when I'm working on a machine and it's wide open with my tools all over.....They point to the machine that I'm working on and ask me "Is that one broken because I'd like to use it".
This leads me to one of my pet marketing theories: Whenever my Mat is really slow, I just start some kind of project that takes up a lot of room. Within MINUTES the customers come piling in! Works better than free dry!!

Lol, why not put a sign outside "Paul is fixing the machines again. Bring your laundry and popcorns!"

Yeah John, LOL... They LOVE to see us working on our Mats! I guess they feel they're getting their money's worth.
Or is it the same concept as when a new building is going up, that they can't resist peeping through the little peephole in the wooden wall of the temporary barricade.
Freakin voyeurs.....lol

Do you hang up signs that say " working " on every machine before you start a repair? Why is it every other customer asks "is this washer working?" from 2 isles over when they see you working on a machine? And those who come at you in great panic when you are half stuck on some thing because they lost a quarter wanting you to drop everything and rush over to help them, most of the time they just to stupid to press the start button.. it is like when you are fixing something everyone becomes helpless! I try to fix stuff when nobody is around...
