Sweet! I ride as well, just about everyday... but not in rain... noway! I have a Yamaha FZ6. As for cages, I drive a Ridgeline. When shopping for a truck, the Ridgeline has it all - seats 5, 4WD, open bed, closed trunk.
The Sienna is the family people mover. However, we're thinking of converting it to mat's pickup/delivery vehicle.

I drive a 98 GMC Sierra Pick up truck. The outside is beat up and rusty, but the truck runs like a beaut! Never have any problems. I let my wife drive the BMW.
Howard-I don't know you but I feel like we would be great friends. There is nothing that drives me more crazy than the chevy volt. The volt to me is a symbol of everything that is wrong. It makes no economical sense. Why not buy a ford focus for 20,000 less (without us chipping in for your credit) and at gas prices at $4/gallon you would have to drive something like 135,000 miles before you equal out to the "savings" of the volt.

The everyday car is a 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid (essentially a Ford Fusion Hybrid dressed up). I have had this car for about 8 months and love it - gets about as good of gas mileage as the Honda Fit, and twice the mileage of the 2007 Nissan Murano that I handed back after it was finished the lease. The only negative is that the back seat doesn't fold down (cause they stick the battery between the back seat and the trunk).
My other car is a 1981 Fiat Spider convertible. Not exactly practical, but fun (and it uses more gas than the Lincoln).

It's a bit compact, but Howard and I even managed to carry an 80-gallon water heater in it last summer!

OK guy's .... where is Howard hiding the picture. I want to see how that 80 gallon water heater looked sitting in a 30 gallon car. Les

I did not think to take a picture, but it is a true story. It was a Natco Super-E 199-80 unit, and the hatch just about closed, missed by about 8 inches.
So it seems like these cars get better mileage than motor cycles!!!

I drive a 2009 camry hybrid. I put about 60k miles a year just going to my Laundries and my personal driving. My previous vehicle was a 2005 Prius. I drove that car to 300+k miles and the only thing I did to it was break pads at about 250k miles.
The camry gets about 37-41 on the interstate and 42+ on 2 lane roads. I like the camry better than the Prius because it is bigger, I'm 6'3" and the Prius was just a little cramped. The mileage was better on the Prius and the thing could work like a truck but i still prefer the Camry.
The family vehicle it a 2002 Tahoe that can run on E85 and reg fuel. I get about 18-20MPG with that and the few times a year that I need to haul a trailer I just drive the Tahoe.

It just occurred to me that if we had filled the water heater's tank with gasoline, it would have been enough to drive about 4,000 miles in that car.

He, he... I checked off 3 out of 4. Definitely no to a hybrid or any of that rainbow stuff for me. LOL...
I own a small fleet of vehicles. Most of them are pick up trucks ranging from a crew cab dually that gets me 12 miles to the gallon :-) to 1500 Silverados and Sierras. No Fords or imports at my house.
Seriously though, in this business pickup trucks come in handy more often than not. Believe that.

Don't say that about Ford - that is the only American vehicle one should buy.
None of Obama's (G)overnment (M)otors nor Fiats (Chryslers) wanted.
