Get the most out of the least
There are slow hours and rush hours. Seeing that it isn't easy to increase the profit by luring customers to utilize the slow hours, we are trying something different. Working with one customer who is also a Yoga teacher, we currently offer an one-hour free Yoga class each week. It takes place right here during a slow hour in our mat. We remove some folding tables and chairs to provide the space.

Les,
Good point. Now where is my thick insurance policy book?! To my understanding, the insurance should cover everyone who enters my store? This includes my customers, those who come to chat with my customers, those who come to inspect the utility meters, those who come to use the bathroom, the homeless people, delivery persons, salespersons, and etc. Can they sue the teacher, me, or the landlord if they get injured stretching their own bodies?

Sure...they would sue at least the teacher, you and the landlord. Lawsuits are applied shot gun style. After an attorney gets involved, maybe it goes something like this: The teacher is sued because she is not certified to perfection and was teaching on and in an unsafe environment (soapy floors or a floor type not normally used to teach her art maybe). You get sued because you were negligent in not learning more about the teachers job that the teacher knew and stopping the operation. The Landlord gets sued because he did not propely enforce his lease provisions. And it goes on and on with these personal injury attorney's and liberal judges / jury's.
There are only 2 kinds of business owners...those that have been sued, and those that will be sued. Les

Les,
After reading the insurance policy book, I believe that my insurance covers my LLC from any person's injury that takes place in my store except my employees and some of their immediate family members. The only exclusion I can find is "expected and intended injury", which is ambiguous and a very debatable topic that everyone should do some research to understand. Fortunately, as far as I can see, the chance of injury is fairly small. It is an one hour event in early morning when the floor is clean and dry. There are Yoga mats on the floor and the participants stay on the mats.
Isn't this very discouraging? This society is ill but there seems no treatment. Think about that when you ask someone for direction, he/she opens his/her mouth to speak but unfortunately breaks his/her teeth and you get sued.
Let me steal Les' line -- There are only 2 kinds of people...those that have been sued, and those that will be sued.

Excellent idea! We could add additional streams of revenue with the property that we own. Is there a list somewhere on this forum with the possible revenue streams?
