Bearing job on Huebst Horizon softmount front load

Can anyone tell me how difficult it might be to change the bearing? Any special tools needed? Never done a bearing on any thing but thought I might try it since I may junk this machine if it is too expensive to repair.

I agree that it's worth fixing in this economy - even if it is a Horizon. (with it's notoriety)

Assuming your total bearing & seal costs per machine are $ 120, and you do the labor, you'll be far ahead financially vs. a new one at $ 1,500 (incl. tax & shipping) or the $ 40/month interest if you were to choose the loan route.

Plus (from a selling the business perspective) you'd be adding a capital asset to your co. rather than a liability (with a loan).

Hope someone here can share the bearing-change experience.
