Where do you see your industry in 5, 10, 20 years? Will there be any significant differences from the current business model that has been pretty much the same for 2 or 3 decades? I am confident there will be technical differences, more “green” (don’t even get me started on that one!) appliances, better water conservation and such. But I am curious as to the business model. Will Coin-Op ever truly diversify to stay competitive & solvent, or, will things just stay as is?

What is wrong with what is, Most mats peak in 3 years. that volume then becomes constant give or take a little. hopefully you have your expenses under control , If not you will need to create new source of income , ie wash dry fold, pickup and deliver commercial accounts ie. doctors dentist, tanning salon,chiropractor/massage, fire restoration , hotel motels,rent a center, once level you will need to adjust pricing to cover increase in rent and utilities. MY personal plan is to own multiple stores own 4 now,, and live within my means . It does not take much to keep me happy.
