standard changemaker resets

have been having issues with changer unit.. light goes on the front panel warning not to use.. cannot find any obvious issues. unplugging and plugging back in is only way to "reset" unit but 24 hours or so later happens again? any suggestions?

I will assume that you do not have a keypad then correct?

Call Randy Sanders at Standard. He has always been very helpful troubleshooting over the phone with me.

The most common problem for me is a soappy quarter. Sometime you just need to 'cash out' all your used quarters, and restock with new ones from your bank. You would be surprized how corroded or soappy some quarters get that have been in circulation inside your store for a while get.

we are probably the only "token" mat still left in So Cal, I am using 4000 fairly new tokens and it does not seem to matter if it is the new or old ones. will break out the manual and check out the troubleshooting guide when returning from New Orleans. thanks anyways for the info
