HANDS-ON MARKETING AND ADVERTISING TOOLS AND TIPS

Two special guest speakers will join us to share their expertise on marketing and advertising for the owners of coin laundries.

Michelle Comer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Coin Laundry Association, will join us from national headquarters in metro Chicago. Michelle will be speaking on how the CLA assists store owners with direct marketing and website development via the new resources on www.planetlaundry.com and existing resources on www.coinlaundry.org.

Our keynote speaker will be Michael T. Floyd, President of Continental Girbau, Inc., and the 2009 CLA National Chairman. Mike will be joining us from corporate headquarters in Wisconsin to personally present his popular presentation on marketing and advertising for laundromat owners, with specific takeaways for you to use in your store immediately.

Mike and Michelle will then join local store owners for our interactive Q&A panel discussion.

Beverly I just seen an add in the classifieds with all the equipment for sale. Is that your store that closed? I did a google search of the address and it came up Beverlys Laundromat. Also the phone # is the same. If so I hate to find this out and wish you all the luck. Are you still going to be on the So Cal CLA board?

Kenny, I saw your post day-of but wanted to give Beverly time to respond, but...although I am in no way authorized to speak for her, as her friend and colleague let me assure you that the ad she placed was not about her own store, and her store and equipment and business and involvement in CLA and SoCAL CLA affiliate are all still going as normal and strongly. But it was a very nice post of you to make, and I know she'd appreciate your concern.
