One of my double stack huebsch originator dryers (Mod. JTD 32DG) will shut down 3 minutes into its' cycle and the display reads "OP" I did notice that the dryer is significantly hotter than the one above it to the touch. I looked in the Raytheon electronic control manual but makes no mention of this "code". Anyone ever seen this code and know what it means? Since I noticed the high temperature, I checked for obstructions and found none anywhere. In fact, this happened right after I took the front panel off to replace some rollers and give her a good vacuuming.
P.S. the machine will run its' full cycle in no heat mode.
mike start by swapping the computer to the dryer next to it to see if it stays with the dryer or the board, . when moving it take a look at the pigtail for burned marks, the op means open circuit. ie loose wire bad connection. Frank is that part the thermister on the back side under a cover and 2 wires going to it?
Thanks for the tips. I did swap control panels and that it is not it. When I swapped one for the other it will show the same code on the swapped so I can rule that out. I also tried a new high limit thermostat & thermistor with no luck.
M409114 part also comes up as M411758 (thermistor) in Huebsch manual Are we speaking about the the same part?
I'll check out the wire harness & see what I find.
Everyone- thanks for the help, I'll let you know how I made out.
