A $50.00 option would have prevented this crime.

I noticed the change machine had the standard lock on Standard's basic change machine.
Standard offers an option for Medico locks with the screw in bolts that require not just a Medico key which is VERY hard to duplicate, but you also need the screw crank to open the machine.

I'm also wondering if this is an inside job.
Does anyone besides the store's owner have a key?

Funny reporting #1: The change machine "which sat full of quarters Saturday night following a busy week"... Following a busy week, wouldn't a change machine have LESS quarters, not more? Why doesn't the video show the moron grabbing the stack of bills?

Case,
The video is a perfect example of how little reporters understand the things they report about. Another example is when reporters think that an airplane stall means the engine stopped.
I suspect Mr Badguy never even thought about the bills in the changer. Whenever he used a laundromat, he got quarters out of the changer when he inserted his bills. Therefore, he knew the changer held a bunch of quarters that it could payout to customers but he forgot about the bills the customers put into the changer to get the quarters. Mr Badguys seldom think things through ... or maybe they're so brain dead that they can't think things through.

Why no door switch tied to an alarm? All of my changers have door switches tied to the alarm and at night for the stores that aren't open 24 hours, shock sensors.
