I set my boilers at 130. Ends up usually around 120-125 at the soap compartments.
I find the customers like to see a little steam in the soap compartments.
To do this, you really need 125 at the machines.
Any hotter than this will quickly degrade your valve diaphragms.
Lower than 120, you will not get an effective hot water wash.
I double check all my temps with an infrared thermometer on a routine basis.

Every mat owner should have one of these.
They don't work well on hot shiny objects like new ductwork though. Shiny metal will reflect some of the reading off and give an inaccurate reading (usually lower). You can remedy this by putting some black tape on the shiny metal.
