speed queen toploader keep spinning

just looking at my speed queen toploader, took the panel off and it seems that the plastic part is broken. now you can just spin freely with your hand, unlike before which is rigid. one customer said, makes lots of noise during the spin.

how do you take this off and replace it?

i thought this piece is broken, 'cause it's not like the one on the other toploaders.
this broken piece is plastic, at the bottom of what looks to be the gear.

any hint to fixing this, is much appreciated. i'm new just learning to be handy in this industry.

Remove the motor. Remove the 7/16 bolt and washer from the bottom of the transmission shaft. Turn the black pulley and it should pretty much drop off. Make sure you use a threadlocker on the bolt when you reinstall it.
