CLA Announces Seminar Series for Clean ’11
The Coin Laundry Association has announced its seminar lineup for the Clean Show taking place in Las Vegas from June 6-9, 2011. These sessions will be packed with insight, skill and tips designed to give attendees an advantage in today’s changing marketplace.
The CLA’s educational program for Clean ’11 will kick off with a pertinent topic for every laundry owner, “Upfront and Online: Leading Store Owners Discuss e-Marketing.” During the seminar on Monday, June 6, the CLA will give attendees an insider’s view of how successful laundry owners are using the social media to their advantage – and thriving.
The second day of education will showcase a two-hour event devoted to successful marketing tactics. Attendees of the “Delivering the Message: Complete Guide to Laundry Marketing” session will walk away with the tools needed to develop a plan that takes advantage of new and traditional marketing strategies.
Wednesday morning will begin with information that every laundry owner and new investor needs to know about two of today’s most discussed topics in laundry ownership – water and finance. During “The Future of Water: How to Prepare,” a leading water expert will walk attendees through the factors that may drive rates up (or down) in the years to come, along with what individual business owners can do to keep their rates low.
The second seminar on June 8 is titled, “The New Rules of Finance.” CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace will moderate this panel discussion on how the lending rules have changed – and what laundry owners can do to increase their chances of getting approved.
The seminar series will conclude with “Evaluating an Investment in Coin Laundry” on Thursday, June 9. The two-hour session is designed for potential investors, yet also acts as a refresher for owners thinking of adding another location.
