Social media are revolutionizing the way people find information, companies and even self-service laundries. As a result, the Coin Laundry Association has added Facebook to its overall social media strategy.
The association has been at the forefront of the social media movement with its YouTube channel (YouTube.com/CoinLaundryAssn), as well as the early adoption of LinkedIn groups and Twitter. And, by adding Facebook, the association is now able to reach an even larger audience and communicate with members on a more frequent basis.
In fact, the CLA has two Facebook fan pages – one for the association itself and one for PlanetLaundry.com. The CLA’s fan page (Facebook.com/CoinLaundryAssn) contains information of importance to the organization’s members – such as special members-only benefits and upcoming educational events. By contrast, the PlanetLaundry.com fan page (Facebook.com/PlanetLaundry) features extensions from the association’s monthly trade magazine, The Journal. Fans will be able to access more photos from the laundry profiles, updates to PlanetLaundry.com, opinion polls and more.
For further information about CLA membership, call (800) 570-5629, or visit coinlaundry.org.
