Have you ever been curious about the in-person seminars hosted by the Coin Laundry Association? In advance of its 2010 Educational Conference in Baltimore, the Coin Laundry Association has released select recordings of its 2009 Clean Show seminars in New Orleans.
“By releasing these recordings, we are giving people who have never attended one of the CLA’s events the opportunity to experience the quality of education we deliver,” said CLA President and CEO Brian Wallace.
Significant clips of the one-hour recordings are available on PlanetLaundry.com, while full seminars and session handouts are located in the members-only section of CoinLaundry.org.
The Clean Show topics include:
Garment Care Toolkit: Stain Removal Basics, by Jane Rising, Consultant, Garment Care
Alternative Payment & Card Systems, by Bob Eisenberg, Wholesale Commercial Laundry Equipment Co., NE, a division of Qualclean Equipment, LLC
Equipment Replacement: Cost vs. Benefit Analysis, by Richard Weisinger, Gerber & Co., Inc.
The CLA’s 2010 Educational Conference in Baltimore will give laundry investors access to leading speakers and timely conversation. Attendees will learn first-hand how to prevail within the self-service laundry industry’s changing atmosphere.
The topics presented during the event’s “Core Competencies” segment on Friday, May 21, will include effective direct mail and Internet advertising, as well as building for future growth. Brian Brunckhorst, a multi-store owner, will reveal how he avoids pitfalls when buying and selling laundries.
Potential investors will be invited to “kick off the training wheels” on Saturday, May 22. A new beginner’s format will showcase a step-by-step process for researching and entering the coin laundry business. Also hosted on Saturday will be the popular Multi-Store Management Workshop.
Owners and potential investors interested in attending the CLA’s 2010 Educational Conference from May 21-22 can review complete session descriptions and register online at CoinLaundry.org.
