More than 35 hours of educational seminars will be presented at Clean 2011, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on June 6-9, 2011. These sessions will be offered by four of the show’s sponsors, as well as six related associations from the United States, Canada and Europe.
Among topics to be covered in the classroom are environmental issues, water conservation, business management, marketing, new technology, industry standards and regulatory issues.
“Clean 2011’s theme is ‘The Show That Works… For You,’” said Jim Thacker, Clean Executive Committee chairman and executive director of the Association for Linen Management. “The education you can gain at the Clean Show can work to keep you abreast of new industry developments that can set you apart from your competitors and improve your business.”
Many of the sessions offered command substantial fees when presented at any other time or place. It is estimated that Clean 2011’s educational program is valued at more than $13,000. All sessions at the Clean Show are included in the show’s registration fee of $99 before May 13, 2011, or $149 on site, and they are open to all attendees.
Each participating association will present sessions relative to its segment of the textile care industry; however, many sessions are of general interest. The entire schedule with session descriptions will be posted on the show’s website – cleanshow.com – by late January.
In addition to classroom education, the exhibit floor will provide an education all its own. The Clean Show is the world’s largest industry exhibition featuring live demonstrations of equipment so that attendees can easily see and compare equipment and products.
Clean Show sponsors presenting educational sessions include the Coin Laundry Association, the Association for Linen Management, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.
For the first time at Clean ’09, related associations were invited to participate in the program. Clean 2011 sessions also will be presented by the American Reusable Textile Association, the Canadian Cleaners & Launderers Allied Trades Association, Cinet with Textile Services Association Ltd., the European Textile Services Association, the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council and the International Association of Healthcare Textile Management.
The Clean Show is the world’s premier showcase for equipment, products, supplies and services for the textile care industry. It attracts attendees from around the world and across all segments of the industry – from self-service laundry owners and drycleaning businesses to large industrial and institutional laundries and textile rental companies. In addition to the sponsoring associations providing educational sessions, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association is a show sponsor.
