Clean 2011, scheduled for June 6-9, 2011, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, has introduced its new and improved Web site, which makes it easier for prospective attendees and exhibitors to learn about the show and make plans to participate. The site can be found at cleanshow.com.
“We designed this site to be more intuitive in terms of finding out about what will be going on at the upcoming show and how to register to attend or sign up to exhibit,” said John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, the show’s management company. “We added more photography and video clips so site visitors could get a better feel for just how expansive the show is.”
The biennial Clean Show is the laundering, drycleaning and textile services industry’s most important event – the only place to see and compare the full range of industry products and services, and live demonstrations of the largest and latest machinery.
“If a picture is worth a thousand words, and a demonstration is worth a million, then comparing demonstrations is priceless,” Riddle offered. “The Web site’s photography and video clips make that clear throughout, even to someone who has never attended a Clean Show.”
The site features separate “Exhibitor” and “Attendee” sections, each containing all of the information required to learn about the value of participating, and guides site visitors through the easy steps to sign up for the show. (Exhibit booth sales start in May, and show registration opens in the fall.)
The site also features timely news bulletins to keep visitors up to date on the latest developments relative to the show. Other features include access to information on vendors and products from Clean ’09; and contact information for the industry associations that sponsor the show and key members of the show management staff. A special international exhibitor and attendee section introduces the show with a multi-lingual component.
The site will be updated as plans for Clean 2011 move forward. The site also is linked to the Clean Show’s new Facebook page, where Facebook users can become “fans” of the show to receive updates and reminders of approaching dates and deadlines.
“We want to give our current and prospective attendees and exhibitors reasons to visit the site often, so we designed it to stay fresh and informative,” Riddle added, “and, in the process, made it much more visually appealing and interesting.”
The Clean Show, formally named the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, is sponsored by five industry associations: the Coin Laundry Association, the Association for Linen Management, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.
