Daniels Equipment Co., based in Auburn, N.H., recently received Continental Girbau’s 2009 Vended Laundry Distributor of the Year Award, an honor that distinguishes distributors for outstanding performance in the vended laundry market.
Simultaneously, Sparkle Solutions, located in Concord, Ontario, was presented the Canadian Distributor of the Year Award for outstanding sales and distribution in both the vended and on-premise laundry markets.
Since 1973, Daniels Equipment Co. has served the six New England states with quality vended and commercial laundry equipment. With a team of 22 service people, Daniels has been able to maintain thousands of washers and dryers across its service area. This is due in large part due to the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence, according to Continental President Mike Floyd.
“This is the second consecutive year Daniels Equipment has claimed this award,” Floyd noted. “Daniels Equipment excelled in the vended market during a year when general laundry sales were down – exemplifying the company’s customer commitment and aggressive sales strategy.”
Sparkle Solutions serves the on-premise and vended laundry markets by providing expertise on vended laundry development and on-premise laundry productivity. They serve the vended laundry market by working closely with investors to locate, design and equip new stores. The company also delivers quality services and equipment to help existing laundries cut utility costs and maximize profit through expertise on energy conservation and technical services.
The company’s growth and success are the result of a well-run, customer-oriented company, according to Floyd.
“Sparkle Solutions has an extraordinary understanding of their market, which helped them exceed expectations during 2009,” Floyd said. “Their diversification into several market segments produced balanced, strong results in a difficult economic year.”
