Equipment Marketers, based in Cherry Hill, N.J., received the Fred Maytag Award during the Maytag Commercial Laundry 52nd Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla. With a history of more than 50 years, the Fred Maytag Award is the longest-running honor presented in the commercial laundry industry.
“Equipment Marketers’ dedication to the Maytag brand over the past year is unmatched,” said Craig Kirchner, global director of Maytag Commercial Laundry. “With more than 60 years in the business, Equipment Marketers provides award-winning Red Carpet Service by a well-trained staff and continues to uphold the professionalism exhibited by Fred Maytag.”
When Fred Maytag established this award, his primary objective was to recognize a Maytag Commercial Laundry distributor for outstanding achievements and remarkable performance. Recipients emulate Mr. Maytag’s original marketing philosophy to distribute the company’s products with professionalism and integrity.
“We are pleased to again be recognized with Maytag Commercial Laundry’s top honor,” said Richard LaMaina, president of Equipment Marketers. “We strive every day to provide our customers with award-winning service we can stake our reputation on, and this recognition pays tribute to our tireless efforts.”
Mr. LaMaina was on hand to receive the award, along with Susan LaMaina, vice president, and Lawrence LaMaina, director of multiple housing.
In addition to receiving the company’s fourth Fred Maytag Award, Equipment Marketers previously won the Maytag Marketing Excellence Award and the On-Premises Laundry Excellence Award, both of which the company has received twice. Equipment Marketers also has won the Red Carpet Service Excellence Award, and a number of annual Maytag Service and Star Performer Awards.
