Laundrylux, formerly Bermil Industries, which distributes and markets Wascomat and Electrolux laundry equipment in North America, has hired Paul Landori as its regional business manager for Canada. Landori is charged with managing the region’s current dealer network, while developing the Canadian coin and OPL business through education and promotion of the Wascomat and Electrolux brands.
Landori joins Laundrylux with more than 20 years of progressive account management roles in the consumer electronics and packaged goods industries. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing, specifically brand positioning and channel management with national and regional retailers, including Wal-Mart and Costco. His most recent accomplishments include being named Wal-Mart’s 2007 Vendor of the Year, and receiving Costco’s Greatest Vendor Growth Award over a three-year period. Landori is a bilingual graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.
“Laundrylux’s success lies in its pioneering ways,” said Landori, who is based in Toronto. “The company consistently invests in its infrastructure and in the industry as a whole. What’s more, a momentous partnership with Electrolux, a well-established brand, affirms that Laundrylux is the dominating force in the industry. This is the place to be, and I’m excited to leverage my skill set and contribute to Laundrylux’s overall continued success."
Landori has been with the company only a short time, but Laundrylux is already seeing positive results.
“Paul's background and history of achievement, plus his keen understanding of world-class brands, make him perfectly suited to carry on the success we are experiencing with the Wascomat and Electrolux brands in the Canadian market,” said David Selib, Laundrylux’s vice president of marketing, national sales. “Paul’s made a seamless transition into the industry, and his contributions have been immediately felt.”
Landori looks forward to developing an even greater appreciation of the laundry industry as he implements regional strategies and establishes close working ties with Laundrylux dealers and coin laundry professionals.
“I’m excited to use my experience to add value to Laundrylux and our dealer network,” he said. “It’s a great feeling knowing I’m part of a progressive organization that cares enough about its customers to offer the very best in equipment, technology and service.”
