Clean ’11 Attendees Can Better Plan Time with Online Tools

By PlanetLaundry staff | Jan 21, 2011

Planning ahead to maximize their time will be easy for attendees of this year’s Clean Show, using tools on the show’s website – cleanshow.com. Clean ’11 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on June 6-9.

Attendees can visit the “Attendees” section of the website and click on “My Briefcase.” After establishing a login password, two subcategories can be accessed that allow attendees to plan what educational sessions they wish to attend (“My Itinerary”), and what exhibit booths they want to visit (“My Expo Plan”). Much like shopping on the Internet, the selected items are added to a cart. When completed, selections go into “My Briefcase.”

With a few exceptions, educational sessions are posted on the website. The format is flexible so that all sessions can be viewed or they can be displayed by sponsoring association, speaker, or date and time. Of course, some information is subject to change, so occasional reviews are recommended.

Attendees will have even more access to show information on site using their smartphones with a new system designed specifically for trade shows.

ChirpE, designed by event marketing and software company a2z, is a free, user-friendly tool that enables attendees to save exhibitors and educational sessions, and access the floor plan in real time between ChirpE and the show website. More information will be available closer to the show.

Since its inception in 1977, the Clean Show has grown to become the world’s largest exposition for the textile care industry featuring working equipment. It includes all segments of the industry: coin/card laundries, drycleaners and textile rental, and it draws exhibitors and attendees from around the world.

The show is sponsored by five textile care associations: the Coin Laundry Association, the Association for Linen Management, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.

For more information about Clean ’11, visit the show’s website at cleanshow.com, or contact show management, Riddle & Associates, Suite 305, 3091 Maple Drive NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30305, phone (404) 876-1988, fax (404) 876-5121, e-mail info@cleanshow.com.
