Daniels Equipment Co., based in Auburn, N.H., recently received Continental Girbau’s 2010 Vended Laundry Distributor of the Year Award, an honor that recognizes Continental distributors for outstanding performance in the vended laundry market. This is the third consecutive year in which Daniels Equipment has claimed the award.

In addition, Sparkle Solutions, a Continental dealer located in Concord, Ontario, received the Canadian Distributor of the Year Award for outstanding sales and distribution in both the vended and on-premise laundry markets.

“The Daniels Equipment team is among the most equipped and experienced in the industry,” said Continental President Mike Floyd. “Through a concerted effort, they continue to exceed expectations since we formed a partnership with them several years ago. Daniels Equipment is a superior distributor with unmatched marketing and sales efforts.”

Serving the six New England states with vended and commercial laundry equipment, Daniels Equipment was founded in 1973 and boasts a team of 22 service technicians.

Sparkle Solutions serves both the self-service and on-premise laundry markets within its Canadian territory. This is the second consecutive year the company has been named Continental’s Canadian Distributor of the Year.

“Ray Helwig and his staff are among the most talented and capable teams in North America,” Floyd said. “They deliver expertise in every aspect of the vended laundry development and on-premise laundry productivity. They serve the vended laundry market by working closely with investors to locate, design and equip new stores. The company also delivers quality services and equipment to help existing laundries cut utility costs and maximize profit through expertise on energy conservation and technical services.”
