Elite Business Investments, based in Van Nuys, Calif., has added industry veteran Andy Cunningham to its sales force. Cunningham comes to Elite with more than 24 years of experience in the self-service laundry industry, including serving as co-founder of Lucy’s LaundryMart, a store chain that pioneered co-branding into the laundry segment. For the past eight years, Cunningham has worked as an independent industry consultant. He has experience in operations and has worked with the Coin Laundry Association to develop a widely used training video for store employees.
As regional manager, Cunningham is responsible for hiring, training and overseeing a team of agents for Elite. He also will be handling all other coin laundry activities including equipment sales, building new stores and brokerage.
Elite is an authorized Continental Girbau distributor, which also represents ESD, Rowe International and Standard Change-Makers.
