Clean Show Names Official Contractor

The Clean Executive Committee has named Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) the official services contractor for Clean 2013, which will be held June 20-22, 2013, in New Orleans.

Three companies submitted proposals for the show.

“GES did our show in New Orleans in 2009 and did a great job,” said John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, the Clean Show’s management company. “We look forward to working with them again in 2013.”

United Exposition Service Co. was the official services contractor for the first Clean Show in Chicago in 1977, as well as subsequent shows. GES purchased United in 1993, and the company has continued its partnership with the Clean Show for many shows since.

GES, based in Las Vegas, produces 3,000 exhibitions and events annually.

Officially titled the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, the biennial Clean Show is the world’s premier showcase for equipment, products, supplies and services for the textile care industry. The show attracts approximately 11,000 attendees from across all segments of the industry – from single-owner, self-service laundries to drycleaning establishments to large industrial laundries and textile rental companies. More than 400 companies exhibit their products and services at the show. In addition, the show’s educational component offers seminars on such topics as business management, technology and environmental issues.

The Clean Show is sponsored jointly by the Coin Laundry Association, the Association for Linen Management, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.
