Firestone Financial Corp., a provider of equipment financing, has appointed Dan McAllister as its vice president of business development. In this newly created position, McAllister will lead Firestone’s sales efforts in developing financing opportunities in the self-service laundry industry. McAllister has more than 21 years of sales leadership experience, most recently as senior vice president of sales and market development with TouchTunes Interactive Networks.
“Dan’s extensive business development experience will be an asset to Firestone as we look to expand our offerings in the coin laundry market,” said David Cohen, Firestone’s president and CEO. “He has been working with Firestone for years, and we are pleased to have him join our team.”
McAllister is excited about his new opportunity. “Having worked in the amusement industry for the majority of my career, I am looking forward to the challenge of a different industry, developing new relationships and skills,” he said.
While McAllister will be developing new markets for Firestone, Firestone’s sales team will continue to support its current ones. Larry Yaffe, Firestone’s senior vice president will continue to oversee the sales efforts in the amusement, vending, carnival and fitness industries. In the amusement and vending industries, Jim Hines, vice president, will continue to lead the sales efforts; his team includes Sal Cifala, Spencer Norton, Helen Mooney and Pete Aldrich.
