    I can certainly appreciate your optimism but where I live here in Michigan, the economy is still a mixed bag of good news followed by bad news. First it's "We're building a large wind farm" followed by "Never mind".

    While the auto industry is improving; the local economy fails to show any real strength yet. The Great Recession still lingers on in Michigan.
