CLA Insurance does not set
CLA Insurance does not set up family trusts. The agency writes:
* Property/Liability Coverage
* Workers’ Compensation
* Umbrella Insurance
* Auto Insurance for Company Vehicles
Family Trusts
Are you the CLA in Plano that sets up Family Trusts?
Response to Deb's question
CLA has been working overtime this Spring on the sales tax issue along with our volunteers like Bob Meuschke. Several states have either introduced bills, included the repeal of exemptions in upcoming budgets or otherwise have been debating the repeal of sales tax exemptions as a way to plug the budget deficits. In Pennsylvania, Gov. Rendell has proposed the repeal of all sales tax exemptions as part of next year's budget. No action on this is expected in the short-term, but CLA quickly learned of this proposal and connected with a lobbyist to keep an insider's eye on the issue. Also, our Western Pennsylvania and Deleware Valley CLA affiliates are being kept in the loop.
As for other states active to one degree or another this spring include: Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, South Carolina and others.

Bob,
Very interesting article. I did not realize this situation even existed, affirming your admonition to keep active with the CLA. Do you mind me asking what the other six states were that considered this legislation? I am a Pennsylvania business owner and wonder if this issue is up for consideration near me.
Thanks.

Wash and Fold
what equipment and supplies besides the washers and dryers do I need to offer a wash and fold service from my laundromat?
