How to Change a Trunnion Bearing
Some questions:
How did he get the bearing out?
Did he replace the part on the shaft that appeared to need replacing or did he just clean it up? And how?
How exactly did he clean up the bearing race on the trunion?
New store balancing act
What an excellent and informative article. As a new member here (waiting for final approval and password) I was pleased to see an article that interviewed someone, Larry Adamski, whose blogs and postings are already familiar to me. I'm at that critical point of trying to determine how best to equip my first store. It's small, 1200 sq ft. And I admit I am guilty of the rookie thought process of believing two 25lb washer extractors will give me more bang for my buck than a 50 lb machine will. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Cleaning
I feel it is better to have a professional do the cleaning. You then have an expert to go back to if you encounter any problems.
MAH22PR-Maytag Washers
Is there anyone outthere that can give me advice on the MAH22PR? Have you used it, do you like it or is it somehting that I should steer away from in a residential rental community? Any thoughts off the record will be great.
Thanks,
dryer vent cleaning
We clean our vents every six months. You can buy a vent brush system at Lowe's or Home Depot for 6 or 8 inch vents. It uses a screw on rod system to lengthen the brush to clean each vent. Be sure to vacuum the dryers out at least once a year as well. This will help to prevent dryer fires.
